		Written language requires attention and some effort to process, for computers as well as humans.

		In partnership with Learning and Data Processing, this group develops computer programs for
		processing written text, applying techniques that are known as Natural Language Processing.

		This exciting field of computer research is changing the way computers understand humans and
		human knowledge, making it possible for programs to alert physicians to new discoveries and
		stay on top of their specialization.
